Tallaght Institute of Technology is Tallaght’s only third level college. It opened in September 1992. Some of the subjects studied at the college are: Business, Languages, Science, Engineering, Accountancy, Marketing and Computers.
There are about 2,550 full-time students and 1,000 part-time students studying at the College at any one time. In the college there are lots of very well equipped laboratories, lecture rooms and workshops. There is a huge library and a canteen. Students can choose from a huge number of clubs and societies to join, such as: athletics, dance, gaming, cycling, soccer, drama, hockey, karting, rugby, tennis and kickboxing.
